as the colours in the photo,s.
So i have used quite a bit of deep pink to pull it all together.
When starting a page, its nice to choose papers that go, but you can always print out photo,s in black
and white, or sepia.
Its good to bear in mind if there is something in the photo you don't want to accentuate & you are
unable to crop it out, then don't choose the colour of that item.
for example if its a yellow rubbish bin in background, then don't use yellow or else your eye is drawn to it.
i choose a deep blue patterned paper from the 12 x 12" pack, & a deep pink 12 x 12" card
before you do anything 'Gut' a square from the pink (or whatever you have chosen ) card. I cut out a 10" square from the middle, this is to use as a mat for your photo's
cut down your patterned paper to allow a pink border when its placed on top.stick down.
Also choose a square as shown above & before sticking, try them out on the paper to see what it looks like.
i usually lay everything on my page and only stick when i am happy with the layout.
Next stamp the - you are sew lovely -heart (without the words) onto some paper that will contrast with the backing. I stamped and embossed in pink on a soft peachy background.
Then cut it out. if you preferred you could cut out one of the hearts from the paper pack instead. see top of picture in the centre above.
Then stamp again, this time using the sentiment too, on to a bright paper & just cut out the centre heart this time.
Below is the die set i used for the third heart.
and i also cut the heart topped pin in pink twice too
the die cut heart has been stamped with the sentiment, you are sew lovely
and the edges of this and a big bloomer flower have been inked in pink
you might like to add some lace trimming to your photo as i have done , these are Madame payroud range.
take the heart from the toppers pack & place on your page to the right twds top
cutting the pink heart pin in half so you can place it as if it was actually going through the heart
layer up your hearts as shown in the main photo of finished page .
i have stamped, hand made with love across the tape measure bit of the 'pins' border
Take the large alphabet stamps & place your word 'LOVE' in my case & ink up well
carefully stamp onto a piece of shrink plastic, trim carefully without smudging it.
then using heat gun, shrink it down.
Great LO & a super tutorial!
