The butterflies in yellow and pink are die cut using butterfly die which is photographed
On the midnight blush butterfly card on previous post. I inked the edges of card and flower/butterfly elements
. I used 'card candy' also Botanics for the centres of butterflies.
Paper used for yellow/pink butterflies was free paper given with a magazine a while back
Free paper details as promised :-)
These were scrapbook magazine no 78, see photo below
The centre topper also. I will check and edit this post tomorrow - promise !
I stamped the pink circle onto topper in deep pink. Then stamped happy birthday circle onto a smaller topper . Stamps were henbury lane.
Die cut flowers are from Laura's fab die set from creative expressions by sue wheeler I think.
I used deep pink and light green for the leaves.
Finished with white adhesive stones & green pearls.
More of the free papers ! Lovely butterfly background .
These are from scrapbook magazine no 80
I used Tim holtz distress ink on a white tag. China blue , spiced marmalade & yellow
Using cut n dry pad adding colour till I was happy,
I then I inked a swirly stamp with clear ink & then spritzed stamp with water. Quickly stamp this down on the tag and up again. As you dry with a heat gun the pattern of the stamp will get lighter as if bleached effect.
I dried off stamp and inked it lightly with a soft grey, stamping lightly off set over the water effect
Image. Then I stamped the upper right corner in grey too, just for continuity.
The cut n dry pad I used on tag was then used to ink around edges of card.
I stamped a little house stamp (free with craft stamper in 2009 !!!
Coloured in softly with pro- markers..
The tag is fixed down I added a metal tag shaped brad ( have loads of these and am determined to use them ! I added a little yellow flower to it and a yellow pearl to it & the extra butterfly I cut out and stuck on tag edge.
